Rob Wong Yuen
Rob Wong Yuen is Extreme Kayak Fishing Hawaii's native Hawaiian expert fish angler. Fishing is his passion and as such he strives to make everyone's time out on the ocean enjoyable. Since safety is a key component to being successful on the water, Rob will train you on how to use the kayak and the ocean fishing gear. Once you are comfortable, and ready to hit the surf, he will take you out into the beautiful waters of Hawaii. Catching a Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, or Marlin is an extreme and exciting experience that you won't soon forget. Rob's knowledge of the sea where he fishes is the key to your success; only a few have his talent and expertise in these waters. He has caught almost every big game fish from his kayak and yes, marlins too.

Jim and Kelly Welles
Jim and Kelly Welles are the administrators behind Extreme Kayak Fishing Hawaii. Although they don't live on the island currently, they make it out every year, and hope to increase their time exponentially. They currently own a condo in Kona, that they rent out while not on the Island.
Both have moved around quite extensively, but landed in New Mexico (of all places).
Jim was born on Oahu at Tripler General, and his mother was born and raised in Wahiawa. As a military 'brat', he moved around for much of his childhood, until his father retired and moved to New Mexico.
Kelly was raised in Seattle, so after living next to the ocean for much of her life, Hawaii has become her escape from the dry heat of the Southwest.
Jim and Kelly strive to make booking your adventure quick and easy. They would love to help you plan your trip, and make the most of your time in Hawaii.
